Spain maintained their place at the top of Group G with an 8-0 great win over Liechtenstein after taking a 4-0 lead into half-time closing in on a week of impressive performances in World Cup qualifying after also beating Italy 3-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday.
this win gives Spain a whole 22 points on top of the group and 3 points away from the second spot holders Italy.
Serbia are also one win away from qualifying for the finals with after a crucial 1-0 Group D win away against Republic of Ireland.
Wales indeed was saved by late goals again to keep their dreams of a first World Cup since 1958. Hal Robson-Kanu scored a header in the 80th after great team work from Ben Woodburn and Aaron Ramsey scored in stoppage time for a 2-0 win in Moldova.
This victory made Wales a point ahead of Ireland and closing on the race for the second place.
